Today, Delegate Hala Ayala, Democratic Nominee for Lieutenant Governor, voted to pass the Governor’s budget, which allocates over $3 billion in critical funding from President Biden’s American Rescue Plan to help Virginians rebuild from COVID-19.

As Chief Deputy Whip in the House of Delegates, Hala is the only candidate in the race with the legislative leadership experience to effectively preside over the state Senate and advance Virginia’s priorities.
