WOODBRIDGE, VA — Delegate Hala Ayala announced on Friday that she has raised more than $350,000 across all entities in her bid for Lieutenant Governor. This haul, which includes in-kind and cash contributions, comes from more than 1,000 individual contributions.
“I am so grateful and excited for the broad support we’ve received throughout the Commonwealth thus far. I am proud of the momentum we’re building, and this is a testament that this is truly a people-powered campaign,” said Ayala. “I believe we need to build bridges so we can move Virginia forward into a strong, just, and prosperous future, and Virginians are responding to that message loud and clear.”
More than 70% of Ayala’s donations came from the Commonwealth, and nearly 90% of donations are $100 or less — demonstrating the strong grassroots support that Ayala is building throughout Virginia.
In addition to strong fundraising numbers, Delegate Ayala has announced endorsements from Delegates Delores McQuinn, Danica Roem, Josh Cole, and Clint Jenkins, as well as community leaders throughout the Commonwealth.
